Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Place the whole wheel of brie in the prepared dish. Using a sharp knife, score the top rind of the brie in a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut too deeply into the cheese.
- In a small bowl, mix together the honey, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Spread the honey mixture evenly over the top of the brie. Sprinkle the toasted pecans over the honey layer, pressing them gently into the mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the brie is soft and slightly bubbly around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle with additional honey if desired. Serve warm with crackers, sliced apples, or baguette slices.
Notes
For best results, use a high-quality brie with a soft, creamy interior. If you prefer a nut-free version, substitute the pecans with dried cranberries or chopped dried apricots. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently in the oven.
