Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 wheel brie cheese about 8 ounces, chilled
  • 0.25 cup honey plus extra for drizzling
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup pecans chopped and toasted
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon ground

Method

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Place the whole wheel of brie in the prepared dish. Using a sharp knife, score the top rind of the brie in a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut too deeply into the cheese.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Spread the honey mixture evenly over the top of the brie. Sprinkle the toasted pecans over the honey layer, pressing them gently into the mixture.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the brie is soft and slightly bubbly around the edges.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle with additional honey if desired. Serve warm with crackers, sliced apples, or baguette slices.

Notes

For best results, use a high-quality brie with a soft, creamy interior. If you prefer a nut-free version, substitute the pecans with dried cranberries or chopped dried apricots. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently in the oven.
