Steps
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the cubed chicken, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and half of the minced garlic. Cook for 5–6 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and slightly browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel if using a stone.
- Brush the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the dough. Spread the pizza sauce evenly, leaving a small border around the edge.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then top with the cooked spicy garlic chicken. Add the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 2–3 minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped basil before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra heat, add a drizzle of sriracha or extra red pepper flakes before serving. You can also substitute grilled chicken or use a pre-cooked rotisserie chicken to save time.
