Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp molasses unsulphured
  • 0.25 cup chopped pecans optional, for garnish

Method

Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer.
  2. Add powdered sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat on low speed until fully combined, then increase to medium and mix until fluffy.
  3. Add ground cinnamon, ground ginger, nutmeg, and molasses. Mix thoroughly until all spices are evenly distributed and the dip is smooth.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired. Serve with graham crackers, apple slices, or gingerbread cookies.

Notes

This dip can be made up to 2 days in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Let it sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before serving for easier scooping. For a lighter version, substitute with reduced-fat cream cheese and omit the pecans.
