  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, extending over the edges for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine butterscotch chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and salt. Stir constantly until mixture is smooth and chips are completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and optional chopped pecans until well combined.
  4. Pour mixture into prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Sprinkle edible glitter sprinkles on top for that magical touch.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set. Lift out of pan using parchment paper and cut into squares.
