Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt (low-fat)
  • 0.25 cup light mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup buttermilk (low-fat)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon black pepper

Method

Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, light mayonnaise, and buttermilk. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
  2. Add lemon juice, minced garlic, dried dill, dried parsley, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir thoroughly to combine.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Serve chilled over salads, with fresh vegetables, or as a light sauce for proteins. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes

For a thinner consistency, add an extra tablespoon of buttermilk. To make it dairy-free, substitute with unsweetened almond milk yogurt and omit buttermilk—replace with water or a splash of apple cider vinegar for tang.
