- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the biscuits and flatten each one slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place about 1 teaspoon of jelly in the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the dough over to enclose the jelly and roll gently into a smooth ball. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water. Brush the tops of each biscuit hole with the egg wash.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then dust generously with powdered sugar while still warm. Serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat briefly in the oven to restore crispness. Avoid overfilling with jelly to prevent bursting during baking.
