  • 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cup buffalo sauce
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with nonstick spray or oil.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and buffalo sauce until well combined.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture evenly over the chicken, coating each piece thoroughly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 18–22 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving. Drizzle with extra buffalo sauce if desired.

Notes

Serve with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and ranch or blue cheese dressing for a classic buffalo chicken experience. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
