- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, beef broth, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the sliced steak and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the same skillet. Stir in onions, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 4–5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the steak to the skillet and pour in the prepared sauce. Stir well and cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles. Garnish with sliced green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For best results, slice the steak very thin and against the grain to ensure tenderness. If you prefer a spicier dish, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes with the aromatics.
