- In a large skillet or pot, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the beef. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, and hoisin sauce. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Add ramen noodles to the pot and cook according to package instructions, usually 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Stir in baby spinach (if using) and cook for 1–2 minutes until wilted.
- Remove from heat. Divide among bowls and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra heat, add a drizzle of sriracha or a pinch of red pepper flakes. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
