  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large egg

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, milk, olive oil, and egg until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  4. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
  5. Roll the dough into a rectangle about 0.25 inch thick. Cut into 12 even strips.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush the toast sticks with olive oil or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  7. Arrange the sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  8. Repeat with remaining dough. Serve warm with honey, butter, or your favorite dip.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar before air frying. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes to restore crispness.
