  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter softened
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until well combined.
  3. Stuff each cored apple generously with the oat mixture, pressing it down slightly.
  4. Place apples in the baking dish and pour water into the bottom of the dish to prevent sticking and keep the apples moist.
  5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
