Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until well combined.
- Stuff each cored apple generously with the oat mixture, pressing it down slightly.
- Place apples in the baking dish and pour water into the bottom of the dish to prevent sticking and keep the apples moist.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
