Preparation
- Preheat your sandwich maker.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place a slice of bread, butter-side down, on the sandwich maker.
- Layer on cheese and ham or turkey.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Close the sandwich maker and cook until the bread is golden brown, usually about 4-5 minutes.
- Carefully remove your sandwich and cut it in half.
Notes
Serve with chips, salad, or pickles. Great with a dipping sauce or hot sauce. Store leftover sandwiches in foil or an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the sandwich maker before serving.
